Momentum grows as an increasing number of customers use its calling and messaging services, hires chief operating officer, and expands partner program

Seattle, Wash. – February 2, 2016 – Flowroute Inc., the leading provider of advanced calling and messaging services for cloud-based companies, announced it has achieved a number of company milestones including 36 percent cumulative annual growth rate (CAGR) over the last two years without utilizing any outside capital funding. The company’s rapid financial growth results from rising demand from application developers and enterprises that are integrating innovative calling and messaging capabilities into applications and services to deliver unique capabilities and user experiences.

Flowroute had 22 employees at the beginning of 2015, and is starting 2016 with just below 40 employees; much of the growth was in product development and customer success. To accommodate the continued growth, the company is moving into larger office space in the historic Seattle Tower at 1218 Third Avenue in downtown Seattle.

The company is also announcing the addition of Eric Harber as its new Chief Operating Officer. Harber has a strong track record in establishing companies as leaders through the development of key relationships, growing revenues, and scaling operations. Eric recently headed up global product and marketing in Amazon’s Local Commerce group. Before joining Amazon, he served as the president and chief operating officer at Hipcricket, growing revenue by twenty-five times, taking the company public, and eventually selling the company. Harber served as the vice president of corporate and business development at Qpass where he helped grow, diversify, and eventually sell the company to Amdocs (DOX) for $275M.

“As a leader in providing programmatic control of communications services for developers, we are fortunate to work with organizations on the cutting edge of software, telecom, and API innovation. Eric’s leadership will sharpen our focus in delivering the next wave of innovation to organizations using communications to differentiate their customer experience,” said Bayan Towfiq, co-founder and chief executive officer of Flowroute. “Our momentum is a testament to our customer’s drive to innovate and to the great team at Flowroute. We have a reputation as the most innovative, customer service-oriented tech company in our space, and continue to deliver impact for our customers.”
